⚖️ Chemical Equilibrium

Explore Le Chatelier's principle — shift equilibrium by changing conditions.

Product [B]: 0.50 M

Shift: At Equilibrium

Le Chatelier's Principle

When a system at equilibrium is disturbed, it shifts to counteract the change. Increasing reactant concentration shifts toward products. For an exothermic reaction, raising temperature shifts toward reactants. Increasing pressure favors the side with fewer gas moles. The equilibrium constant Keq = [Products]/[Reactants].
