Magnetic Fields

Magnetic field lines emerge from the north pole and enter the south pole, forming closed loops. Two bar magnets can attract (opposite poles) or repel (same poles). A current-carrying wire produces circular field lines (right-hand rule). Field strength B decreases with distance. The compass grid shows field direction at each point.
