🔵 Unit Circle & Trigonometry

Visualize sin, cos, tan on the unit circle in real-time

45°
θ = 45° = π/4
sin θ = 0.707
cos θ = 0.707
tan θ = 1.000

The Unit Circle

A circle of radius 1 centred at the origin. Any point on the circle at angle θ has coordinates (cos θ, sin θ). The tangent function equals sin θ / cos θ and can be visualised as the vertical line segment from (1, 0) to where the radius line extended meets x = 1. Special angles (30°, 45°, 60°, etc.) have exact fractional values — try snapping to them!
